Dear Viewer, welcome to our fabulous school. Situated in south Mudgee, Cudgegong Valley Public School boasts a rural environment with wide-open spaces for our students, up-to-date facilities and learning resources for our 21stcentury learners and a dedicated, caring staff.

Cudgegong Valley Public School, situated in the historic and thriving central western NSW town of Mudgee is one of the Warrumbungles district group of schools. The school has excellent modern facilities, an experienced and enthusiastic staff, and is set in spacious, park-like grounds and gardens with modern playground equipment in South Mudgee.
A recent school survey revealed that there was a broad, high-level degree of support for the school and its programs as well as recognition of a culture that fostered a sense of belonging and collective responsibility. Teaching and learning programs at the school implement the NSW Board of Studies syllabuses in all six key learning areas. A strong student welfare program ensures that there is a positive climate and good discipline throughout the school to facilitate effective student learning.
The district opportunity class for gifted students is based at the school. An informed learning support team monitors and reviews student achievement and supports all students to meet their full potential, while an active P&C supports the school in achieving its goals. Our school is an active member of the Cudgegong Learning Community.
