Representative Sport

Sport at CVPS is an integral part of student learning. Our weekly, stage-based intra-school sport aims to develop skills and enjoyment in physical activity. CVPS also competes in a variety of inter-school competitions, for both boys and girls.

In the NSW PSSA Knockouts, we have competed in Touch, Tennis, Netball, Australian Football, Soccer, Rugby League, Rugby Union and Cricket..

Our school participates in local gala days including NRL Peachy Shield, AFL Paul Kelly Cup, Cricket T20 Blast and touch and netball gala days.

In addition, as a member of the Western School Sports Association, our gifted and talented sporting students are encourage to trial for zone, regional and state representation through the NSW PSSA pathway.

CVPS has a proud history of students and teams performing successfully at a state level.

  • Nicholas Tracey: Cross Country 2009

In 1997 CVPS won the NSW PSSA knockouts in Girls Touch Football and Boys Cricket.
