Extra Curricular Events
The school participates in many extra curricular events for gifted students accross the school. Students have the opportunity to apply and be selected for participation in events which allow them to explore other skills outside of mainstream curriculum.
These events include but are not limited to; The Game Changer Challenge, Multicultural Public Speaking competitions, Premiers Spelling Bee, Premiers Reading Challenge, Debating and District and state level sport.
ICAS Assessments
There is also opportunity for students across Years 2-6 to take part in the annual International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS), an independent, quality skills-based assessment program which rewards and recognises achievement. For those students who participate in ICAS it gives parents broad insights into your child’s performance across English, Mathematics, Science, Digital Technologies and Writing for all Primary students and Science, English and Mathematics for students from Years 2-6.
